In September 2018, Hanson announced that they would be bringing the String Theory tour Down Under the following February and March, with their Sydney shows to be played at the iconic Sydney Opera House. It had been a dream of mine since a school excursion in high school to see a show there, so even despite my early reservations (I'm not a fan of symphonic music or arrangements, with very few exceptions) I knew I had to go - and because my mum's birthday would be two weeks after the Sydney shows, I decided to take her along.
